Fatemeh Mohammadian
MSc Student (graduated 2026)
Thesis: High-Throughput Culturing and Genomic Characterization of the Swine Gut Microbiota: Insights into Antimicrobial Biosynthesis and Therapeutic Potentials — defended July 24, 2026.
Fatemeh earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ferdowsi University, Iran, and founded and managed a veterinary clinic and pharmacy in Iran before joining the lab. Her research characterized swine gut bacteria for antimicrobial biosynthetic potential and next-generation probiotic candidates.
